Ricardo Peñalba is one of the most creative winemakers in the Ribera del Duero and consistently and successfully implements his vision of biodynamic viticulture in one of the oldest wine-growing regions in Spain. Since taking over the bodega from his father, he has developed the Torre Albéniz into the icon wine of the Castile and León region. The grapes for the wine are subjected to strict selection so that only the best are used. The ageing process takes place in barriques, which are made on the estate according to the old artisan tradition.
